Climate Change and Forest Carbon Education Toolkit

The Climate Change and Forest Carbon Education toolkit—a collaboration between Nakau and Live and Learn—was developed to support the full and effective participation of Western Pacific Indigenous communities in forest carbon projects. Information and activities in this toolkit are written for Pacific-based organisations who partner with Nakau and who are using the Nakau Methodology, but the toolkit is also valuable for any organisations who support Indigenous community participation in highintegrity carbon projects.

Climate Resilient by Nature’s Carbon Learning Program is focused on exploring how high-integrity carbon markets can deliver equitable benefits for communities. We are proud to partner with Live and Learn Environmental Education and Nakau to expand nature-based solutions in the Pacific by working with Indigenous communities to protect and restore critical ecosystems and build social, economic and climate resilience.
