Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration Training and Activity Guide

World Vision is strengthening its forest and mangrove restoration efforts by engaging and educating the next generation.

Through a Climate Resilent by Nature-supported project, a series of learning and awareness materials have been developed for students and youths to delve into issues including climate change and the importance and impact of environmental restoration activities, such as farmer managed natural regeneration.

World Vision partnered with 10 schools to conduct training sessions using the resources which combine practical information with interactive, hands‑on activities.

Education and awareness plays a vital role in shifting behaviours and attitudes to recognise the environmental impacts of certain practices and build a long‑term commitment to restoration and conservation.
